SIU’s New Replacement Cost Irrigation Systems Rater (MARM)

Southern Insurance Underwriters has partnered with MARM to provide online rating that will allow you to get pricing to insure irrigation systems at replacement cost. We will be able to provide your customers superior protection for self-propelled irrigation equipment through Great American Insurance Group. This insurance protects against perils that include weather-related events such as winds, lightning, floods, earthquakes and other catastrophes like collision, collapse, fire, theft, as well as mechanical and electrical failure. Covered losses are settled at replacement cost without depreciation, not depreciated due to age.

Policy Features

• Special perils, including flood, collapse, collision, theft and earthquake.
• Replacement cost loss settlements – no deprecation partial loss – full payment on total loss up to the policy amount of coverage scheduled.
• Mechanical and electrical failure.
• No age restrictions on pivots.
• Standardized deductible on all covered losses per occurrence.
• Provides up to $50,000 legal liability for damage caused by you to non-owned irrigation equipment in your care, custody or control.
